Role: The Area Manager is entrusted with the leadership, management, and growth of Bott Radio Network in the community with a primary focus of generating local revenue.
Responsibilities:
(1) Operate in line with the values and vision of Bott Radio Network (BRN).
(2) Comply with all Federal and State regulations for business and radio.
(3) Build the productive relationships with community businesses and Christian organizations required to exceed stated sales goals.
(4) Hire, develop, and supervise additional staff as required.
(5) Communicate with BRN team members to ensure coordinated efforts.

Part Time
Bott Radio Network is seeking a qualified individual to join our Corporate Finance Department as an Accounting Assistant in a part-time role. Competitive wages and a flexible schedule are offered. This non-exempt position reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
(1) Provide backup for the Accounts Receivable Specialist.
(2) Sort checks for bank deposit.
(3) Prepare daily bank deposit and deliver to bank.
(4) Process credit applications.
(5) Review and enter broadcast agreements.
(6) Collect delinquent accounts by telephone, mail, email, etc.
(7) Process and mail monthly invoices and statements.
(8) Prepare and disseminate reports.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
(1) Provide backup for the Accounts Payable Specialist.
(2) Sort invoices by company.
(3) Stamp invoices with received date.
(4) Code invoices for payment.
(5) Enter invoices into Great Plains.
(6) Generate checks.
(7) Mail payments with remittance advices, etc.
(8) File paid invoices and check stubs.
FILING
(1) Purge accounts receivable bi-monthly.
(2) Purge accounts payable annually and send boxes to storage.
(3) Maintain label database.
(4) File financial reports in central files.
FIXED ASSETS
(1) Assist in getting asset inventory tags to stations.
(2) Follow up to make sure tags are in place.
TAXES
(1) Maintain database of tax filings.
MAIL
(1) Sort and distribute mail (back up for Finance Assistant).
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Formal training or equivalent experience with accounts payable procedures and basic accounting and office computer programs.
Skills:
Standard business oral and written skills.
Must have aptitude for figures and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
Light to medium lifting and manual dexterity.

Bott Radio Network has an opening for a full-time radio traffic coordinator in our Overland Park, Kansas, office.
