Richard (Rich) Bott, II serves as President/CEO of Bott Radio Network. He is responsible for the acquisition and development of new radio stations, as well as the general management of Bott Radio’s eighty plus radio stations. Rich began his broadcasting career as a teenage radio announcer hosting the “Teen Tempo” broadcast on KCCV in the early 1970's. In 1981, Rich graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Graduate School of Business. He then rejoined Bott Radio Network as General Manager of WFCV in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Rich later returned to the Network headquarters in the Kansas City area where he serves today. In addition to his responsibilities as President/CEO of Bott Radio Network, Rich serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee of National Religious Broadcasters and on the NRB Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Life Issues Institute, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Back to the Bible, Lincoln, Nebraska. Steve South serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Business Development for Bott Radio Network. He oversees the day-to-day operations for BRN and develops business partnerships across all properties. A graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Journalism, Steve brings over 30 years of media sales and management experience, including nine years with the San Francisco based broadcasting division of Chronicle Publishing Company. During that time, Steve served with distinction as Vice President and Station Manager of Chronicle’s three Kansas ABC affiliate stations: KAKE-TV in Wichita, KUPK-TV in Garden City, and KLBY-TV in Colby.
With Steve at the helm, KAKE-TV in Wichita was named “Station of the Year” by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters two years running, and received the Edward R. Murrow National Award for “Overall Excellence” given annually to only two stations nationwide. In addition, Steve served as President of the Wichita Broadcasters Association and as a member of the Executive Board of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
Steve is active in his local church and volunteers his time to mentor prisoners at Lansing State Prison in association with Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship Ministry.

Tom Holdeman

Tom Holdeman oversees the financial day-to-day operations for Bott Radio Network. A Bott Radio Network team member since 1997, Holdeman taps his vast experience in finance from positions with Fox & Co., Controller of Security Benefit Life Insurance and Business Administrator for Lakeview Ministries. Holdeman is active at his church as sound board operator and a small group leader. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Washburn University and a Masters Degree from Oklahoma State University in Accounting. He and his wife, Wanda, are both accountants. Tim Lumpkin

Tim Lumpkin has been Bott Radio Network’s Corporate Controller since March 2007. He is responsible for the management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger financial statements within the finance department. He has 21 years of accounting management experience from positions held with non-profit social service agencies, a large home health agency, and a medical manufacturing operation. Tim now uses his considerable talents and experience to facilitate Bott Radio Network’s vision of getting the word of God into the people of God. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting from Fort Hays State University. Tim and his wife, Julie, have three active boys, Tyler, Connor and Brennan and, together with their dogs, live in Overland Park. At their church, both Tim and Julie sing on the praise team and Tim is a sound board operator. Their family is deeply involved in their church as well as in Christian Youth Theater who has advertised with Bott Radio Network since their inception in Kansas City. Eben Fowler

Eben Fowler began with Bott Radio Network as General Manager of KCCV AM and FM as well as Director of Broadcast Operations in August of 2000. Due to significant expansion of Bott Radio Network and increased network-related responsibilities, he is now devoting full-time attention to the position of Director of Operations. Eben is responsible for the overall operation of signals and stations across the Network and for ensuring the quality of the broadcast signal. Additionally, he hosts the weekly issues-oriented "Friday Encounter" broadcast and is involved in public policy programming for the network. His previous experience includes having served as Director of Communications for the Kansas City Sesquicentennial Commission (KC150), Director of Research and Communications for the Missouri-based Family Policy Center, and Manager of Corporate Communications for Hoechst Marion Roussel. Pat Rulon

Pat Rulon became a part of the Bott Radio Network team in 2003 as the Advertising Sales Manager for KCCV 92.3 FM and KCCV 760 AM. Since that time, he has been promoted to National Sales Manager and most recently, Director of National Sales. Pat has 18 years in sales and management experience at such companies as YMCA, Mc-Graw-Hill, and MCI. He also filled the role of National Sales Manager with Construction Market Data/Hospitality Profiles Telecom and Channel Manager with AT&T. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Wyoming. As Director of National Sales, Pat manages the national sales for the Network, and he works directly with area managers located across the nation in order to increase the quality advertisers that Bott Radio Network has enjoyed for the last 45+ years. Pat considers working for Bott Radio Network as the single most important assignment of his career. He was attracted to come to BRN to see first hand lives that are made better through listening to the ministry programs on the radio network. Pat and his wife, Cindy, live in Blue Springs, Missouri. They are blessed with two sons.

Ken Monroe

Ken became part of Bott Radio Network in 1988, after experience as a DJ, Music Director and Production Director at three other Kansas City stations. His talent and professionalism have helped him become the voice of Bott Radio Network. Ken serves as announcer and engineer for on-air messages, remote broadcasts, new station introductions, and Dick Bott’s Complete Story. Ken and his wife have one daughter, who has embraced her father’s love for golf, so Ken enjoys taking her to compete in national golf tournaments across the country. Larry Ross joined Bott Radio Network as a Network Control Room Operator in January 1999. He was promoted in June 2000 to Assistant Production Director. Larry began his career as a morning DJ on KWBB in Wichita, Kansas, in 1971. Career moves took him to Oklahoma City, back to Wichita, and then to Kansas City. Larry served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969, toured Europe with the 7th Army Soldiers Chorus, and served in Viet Nam with the 1st Air Cavalry Division. Larry is an Eagle Scout and still very active with the Boy Scouts as a volunteer leader. He and his wife Barb have two daughters and four grandchildren. Helaine Parish is the Production Assistant at the Bott Radio Network home office, where she provides voice over and production services for commercials, underwriting and public service announcements, as well as weather forecasts and Community Calendar events. She has served at Bott Radio Network since 2003, and has a degree in Personnel Administration from the University of Kansas. Her past experience includes positions in Human Resources and owning her own business, serving as MC and guest speaker for churches and community events such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Day. Lindsey Filby

Lindsey Filby came to Bott Radio Network as a Graphic Designer in February of 2006. She was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer in October of 2007. In February of 2010, she was promoted to Graphics Manager. Lindsey has a degree in Advertising with a minor in English Literature from Kansas State University. She is responsible for print advertisements, collateral material design work, website graphics, outdoor advertising and graphics for various media used by all of the stations in the Network. Christopher Murphy, Bott Radio Network's Webmaster, has an extensive background in photography and writing. Christopher's past experiences include service in the U.S. Air Force as a Still Photographic Specialist, an Ophthalmic Photographer performing fluorescein angiography for a retinal surgeon in Kansas City, as well as a former Contributing Editor and Staff Photographer for the Kansas City Metro Voice Newspaper. Christopher holds an Associate of Arts degree from Georgia Military College. Christopher and his wife Reba are the parents of two wonderful daughters. Candy Green is Bott Radio Network’s Program Services Manager where she is the liaison between the program ministries and the Network. Candy previously served as Operations Assistant from 1996-2000. John “Nick” Nicholas is Chief Control Room Operator and has been a vital part of the broadcast team since 1999. His career at Bott Radio Network began as an overnight Control Room Operator, and he was later promoted to his current position. Nick oversees the daily delivery of programming on Bott Radio Network, assuring that our on-air quality is maintained to BRN’s standards. Before becoming part of the Network, Nick attended the University of the District of Columbia, and served in the military for nine years, living in Washington, D.C., and California. John E. Beck is Network Development Manager for Bott Radio Network. He is responsible for taking new radio station projects from approval to reality. He served in various positions for the past twenty years with HCJB World Radio in Quito, Ecuador. Before that he worked at KCMW-FM in Warrensburg, Missouri, KOBC-FM in Joplin, Missouri and KMAN-AM in Manhattan, Kansas. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan Christian College & Kansas State University, a Master of Arts in Communications from Central Missouri State University and a Broadcast Radio Engineer Certification from the Society of Broadcast Engineers. John and his wife Katherine are the parents of six children. John is also known in amateur radio circles as WB0RXL, while Katherine holds the ham call sign AA0IS. As Traffic Manager, Jason Potocnik oversees all of Bott Radio Network’s traffic duties. Jason leads his team of traffic coordinators in the scheduling and continuity of all BRN stations. Serving in the company since 1997, he brings a well-rounded set of skills to the traffic department having previously served as the Network Control Operator and in Sales & Marketing. Rachel Launius has been a Bott Radio Network team member since January 2005 and was quickly promoted to Marketing Manager in 2006. She utilizes her 10 plus years of experience in marketing, promotions, advertising, and event coordination to serve the entire Network. Her marketing background includes working in the restaurant, nonprofit, health care, newspaper, and now radio industries with her favorite venue being media. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with minors in Psychology and Entrepreneurship from Friends University.
