July 2007 / Bott Radio Network Staffers Go Wild at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo!

Mama Peacock alias Peahen

Bott Radio Network's AM1090 Day at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, on Saturday, July 14th, was a great success as hundreds of families walked by our display table just inside the entrance, and many stopped to sign up for our prize drawings and pick up free literature from our programmers and AM 1090. Prior to our day at the zoo, a number of the families won a family 8-pack of tickets during our on-air giveaway contest. To learn more about the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, named by Child magazine as one of the ten best zoos for kids in the U.S., visit www.kidszoo.com.

Mama Peacock alias Peahen

Mama Peacock (known as a peahen, we were told) and her baby peachicks visited our display table at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, named by Child magazine as one of the ten best zoos for kids in the U.S.” Did you know that a group of peacocks is known as a “bevy”? Visiting the zoo can be very educational!
