November 2007 / Bott Radio Network Sponsors Memphis Food Drive
Each year Bott Radio Network Memphis 640 AM partners with Pastor Francis Ssebikindu and the Living Water Community Church to help provide a thanksgiving meal to families in the inner city of Memphis that are in need. This year the event was sponsored for the first time in the event’s 18 year history by Super Lo Foods. Three of the Super-Lo Foods locations provided drop boxes for our listeners to bring their donations of canned & non-perishable foods. On November 2nd a kick-off for the food drive was organized at the Spotswood location. Bott Radio Network listeners came out to show their support, eat free BBQ from Whole Hog Café, and register to win prizes given away by WCRV advertisers. A special thanks to Southern Comfort Heating & Air for giving away an iPhone, Bott Radio Network’s Monna Stafford for the Branson trip, Brim’s Snack Foods, Calvin Russell Insurance, and Fit for Life.
