Bott Radio Network partnered with the Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center to promote LCPC’s annual Life Walk event Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at Woods Park, Lincoln, Nebraska. Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center is a long time local ministry partner of Bott Radio Network in Nebraska. LCPC is a Christian ministry dedicated to strengthening families by serving those with pregnancy-related concerns, promoting abstinence for unmarried people and caring for those who have experienced abortion. The Center provides trained client educators who provide help and hope for the future. Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center provides a myriad of women’s counseling services at no charge including pregnancy tests, abstinence counseling, ultrasounds and pregnancy confirmation for abortion-vulnerable women. Their ministry provides information about pregnancy, abortion risks, adoption, parenting classes and abstinence education. www.lincolncrisispregnancycenter.org. Ron Brown is well-known as a Christian speaker in Nebraska. He co-founded and co-directs Mission Nebraska, a statewide ministry dedicated to proclaiming Christ across the entire state. Ron has worked in the sports world for decades as a sports analyst in media venues such as Sports Spectrum and ESPN. He hosts a weekly television program called Truth Vision in Nebraska and has authored several books on Christian character and youth. Most recently Ron Brown rejoined the coaching staff at the University of Nebraska as the Tight End Coach. He served as a part of the UNL coaching staff from 1987 to 2003 that enjoyed numerous conference and national championships. Congressman Fortenberry represents the First Congressional District in Nebraska. He has co-sponsored pro-life, pro-family legislation, including a bill that supports deriving human pluripotent stem cell lines using techniques that do not harm human embryos and another bill that would recognize and honor birthparents who carry out an adoption plan. Congressman Fortenberry also worked on a bill that would implement equal protection under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, protecting the right to life.
