November 2008 / Bott Radio Network Founder Dick Bott Receives Humanitarian Award At "A Night of Giving" in Memphis, Monday, November 10th

On Monday night November 10th, Bott Radio Network co-sponsored “A Night of Giving”, to recognize those in Memphis that serve our community in the name of Christ. The event was organized by Jonathan Lindberg of the Main Street Journal and Mark White of Global Children’s Education Foundation. Among those honored during the evening was Mrs. Joyce Rogers, wife of the late Dr. Adrian Rogers of Love Worth Finding Ministries and Pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church. Also included in the special recognition and recipient of the 2008 Humanitarian Awards were Dr. Scott Morris, Founder of the Church Health Center, Delvin Lane of Streets Ministries, and our very own Mr. Dick Bott, President and Founder of Bott Radio Network. The evening was in conjunction of the new book release called, “Memphis- Profiles in Courage.” The book profiles the lives & ministries of 14 individuals who have made a positive and profound impact on the city of Memphis. The keynote speaker for the evening was syndicated columnist, Cal Thomas. Other attendees for the night included, Shelby County Mayor AC Wharton, United States Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, and Tennessee State Senators Paul Stanley and Mark Norris. At the conclusion, contributing authors welcomed guests at a book signing.
