January 2009 / Bott Radio Network Welcomes Dr. Alveda King to Kansas City for Life Is Given Hope Rally, Friday, January 9th
Bott Radio Network was on hand to welcome Dr. Alveda King to Kansas City as she addressed the Life is Given Hope for Tomorrow Rally, Friday, January 9th. Dr. King is the niece of slain civil rights leader Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Rally was held at Wornall Road Baptist Church in conjunction with the United Believers Community Church and the Light House. The Light House works to ensure that every human heart is cherished, within the womb and within strong families. Since 1985, the Light House has provided Christ-centered, comprehensive maternity care in order to provide a pathway for life for the unborn. Dr. Alveda King speaks at the Life is Given Hope Rally, Friday, January 9th, 2009. A pioneer in the civil rights movement, Dr. King is the Founder of King for America, Inc. and said, "Perhaps the most compelling issue of all is the life of the unborn."
At the conclusion of her address Dr. Alveda King took questions from the audience.
