Bott Radio Network was pleased to Co-Sponsor the “Faith, Family and Freedom” Banquet at the Doubletree Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas, Saturday night, April 18th. Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. and host of “Washington Watch Weekly,” heard across Bott Radio Network, was the Keynote Speaker at the gathering. The Banquet was held to increase awareness to the public in Kansas about the Kansas Family Policy Council and their purpose, which is to support and defend Christian values. They do this by conducting public policy analysis and education, promoting responsible citizenship and influencing public opinion in six core areas: 1. Protecting and nurturing children; 2. Strengthening traditional marriage; 3. Promoting Responsible Fatherhood; 4. Sanctity of Life; 5. Honoring our unique cultural backgrounds; 6. Supporting pro-family legislation and legislators. During the Banquet, Bott Radio Network Founder and President, Dr. Dick Bott, received the KFPC’s very first “Champion of the Family” Award.
