January 2009 / Bott Radio Network Co-Sponsors TeamMates, “Let’s Thrive” Luncheon in Nebraska, Saturday, January 24th
Bott Radio Network in Nebraska was privileged to co-sponsor “Let’s Thrive”, a luncheon event that supported TeamMates Youth Mentoring Program, www.teammates.org. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and BRN co-hosted the luncheon event at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska, Saturday, January 24th.
Dr. Tom Osborne, (currently Athletic Director for the University of Nebraska) and his wife, Nancy, founded TeamMates in 1991. Tom Osborne addressed the gathering about the importance of core values and the key role that youth mentorship plays in encouraging and developing young men, particularly young men without a positive male role model in their lives. Teammates has had a very positive outreach to young men across Iowa and Nebraska.
Three hundred fifty people were in attendance at the “Let’s Thrive” luncheon held at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska, Saturday, January 24th.
Dr. Tom Osborne, Athletic Director for the University of Nebraska, was the Keynote Speaker.
