April 2009 / Bott Radio Network Speaker Series Featured Nancy Leigh DeMoss at Lenexa Baptist Church, Friday, April 24th
Close to 600 ladies attended the Bott Radio Network Speaker Series Event with Nancy Leigh DeMoss of Revive Our Hearts, Friday, April 24th at Lenexa Baptist Church. Revive Our Hearts is heard on most Bott Radio Network stations Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Central time. Nancy has a heart for others, and her ministry encompasses teaching, writing and counseling. At Lenexa Baptist, Nancy taught that everyday frustrations in a woman’s life that drive her to her knees are actually blessings as they bring one closer to God. She shared from her family experience the power of prayer as evidenced by her great-grandmother and parents. She exhorted us to not rely on circumstances but to bring every trial to Him and rely on the answers found in the Word of God. At this event, Nancy stayed after her teaching to listen, counsel and pray with every lady who desired to speak with her.
