April 2009 / Bott Radio Network Sponsors the SHEM Home School Convention, April 23rd – 25th
Bott Radio Network in Southwest Missouri was the media sponsor for the 2009 Southwest Home Education Ministry (SHEM) Convention. The event was held at the Springfield Expo Center, Thursday, April 23rd through Saturday April 25th. This year over 2, 500 people attended, a record attendance, and some from as far away as Kansas City and St. Louis. Seminars and plenary sessions were offered on a wide variety of topics. A special ceremony was held for graduating seniors, and two floors full of vendors offered everything from textbooks to music lessons to special science classes. Bott Radio Network was pleased to have a display at the event as well. It was very gratifying to have many event attendees stop by to thank us for our programming.
