May 2009 / Bott Radio Network Sponsors the Springfield National Day of Prayer Breakfast, Thursday, May 7th
Bott Radio Network in Southwest Missouri, was a media sponsor for the Springfield Prayer Breakfast in observation of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7th, 2009. The event, hosted by the Springfield Prayer Breakfast Committee and the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, was held at the University Plaza Convention Center at 7:00 a.m. Chaplain Major General Cecil R. Richardson, Chief of Chaplains of the U.S. Air Force, spoke to over 850 people in attendance. Area pastors also led prayers for the leaders of our City, County, State and Federal leaders and employees. Paul Schneider, BRN Operations Manager for S.W. Missouri, was pleased to be a part of the planning for the event as part of the Springfield Prayer Breakfast Committee.
Over 850 people attended the Prayer Breakfast.
