
September 2009 / Bott Radio Network Co-Sponsors, “How to Take Back America Conference,” Friday & Saturday, September 25th and 26th
Eagle Forum, founded by Phyllis Schlafly and Janet Folger Porter of Faith2Action, joined forces with some of today’s leading conservative activists, media personalities and knowledgeable speakers to motivate more than 600 concerned Americans in attendance.
The Conferfence was designed as a crash course in conservative grassroots activism.
It featured nearly forty presentations including twenty-four “how-to” workshops from speakers such as former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Frank Gaffney, Lt. General William Boykin, Rick Scarborough, Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher, U.S. Rep. Tom Price, U.S. Rep. Steve King, U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, Bill Federer, Walid Shoebat and many others.
Bott Radio Network’s Founder and President, Dick Bott served as part of The Host Committee that also consisted of, Joseph Farah, Michael Farris, Don Feder, Rick Green, Phillip Jauregui, Rick Scarborough, Mat Staver and Don Wildmon.
Experienced grass roots activists and those newly engaged through the Tea party movement, learned from those who have been serving our country for many years. Practical pro-active common sense strategies were presented.
Most importantly, attendees left convinced that conservatives really can make a difference by paying attention and getting involved.
