In a different debate format, the evening took the form of a comfortable living room discussion, in a sense. Dr. Licona, left, and Dr. Carrier, right, asked each other a series of questions and had segments of time to answer each other. Less structured than a podium debate, the atmosphere was one of engaging conversation rather than confrontation.
