Bott Radio Network Springfield was a media sponsor for a unique fundraiser for two organizations: The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Ronald McDonald House of Springfield. Called, “A Taste of Adventure,” approximately 550 people were in attendance Saturday, March 13th, at Remington’s Convention Center. Entertainment was privdied by the Lonesome Hollow Bluegrass Band, and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal of many types of wild game and fish such as: alligator tail, quail, buffalo, rabbit, deer, elk, shrimp, and salmon. Both a silent and a live auction of many outdoor related items and activities were held. The main speaker for the event was former pitching star for the St. Louis Cardinals, Todd Worrell. It was an enjoyable evening for all. BRN Operations Manager for S.W. Missouri, Paul Schneider, attended the BRN display and was pleased to visit with many listeners.
