May 2010 / BRN President Rich Bott Introduces J.C. Watts at Winning America Back Event, Saturday, May 1st
Bott Radio Network President/CEO, Rich Bott, introduced former Congressman J.C. Watts at the “Winning America Back” event, Saturday, May 1st at the Independence Events Center in Independence, Missouri. “Winning America Back” was an action packed one-day event promoting conservative values with some of the biggest names in politics – including keynote remarks from Vice Presidential Candidate and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. This event helped equip conservatives with resources to take action on the grassroots level to make a positive impact for our future. The event was put on by Preserving American Liberty, a grassroots organization formed from deep concern over the direction America has taken in recent years. Preserving American Liberty's purpose is to inform and educate individuals on political issues and current events, provide non-biased, accurate information on government agendas which citizens directly, today, and in the future.

Former Presidential Candidate and U.S. Senator from Tennessee, Fred Thompson, spoke on the need for strong conservative values and identifying candidates early to get involved in the process.

J.C. Watts points out the need for strong families as the antidote for problems in our nation during his speech at the event. 
Former Congressman J.C. Watts reacts to an audience member who shouted out, "J.C. Watts for President" during his speech. His response was that he was looking to simplify his life rather than make it more difficult. 
Kris Kobach, Professor of Law at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, spoke at the event, detailing how he helped craft the new Arizona immigration law, which mirrors Federal law already in place for the last 70 years.
