Bott Radio Network Springfield was the media sponsor for the annual Southwest Home Education Ministry (SHEM) Convention, held April 22nd through the 24th, at the Springfield Expo Center. The convention attracted over 1,600 parents and their children from a 5 state area to be encouraged and further educated on the benefits, teaching styles, curriculum and materials for home education. It was particularly gratifying to see the overflow crowd of teenagers attending the Christian Worldview classes. Many people stopped at the BRN display to thank us for our programming and many others are now aware of our ministry!
