June 2010 / Black Americans for Life Kansas City Feature Pastor Stephen Broden at Event, Saturday, June 19th
Black Americans for Life Kansas City and Bott Radio Network co-sponsored an all day event featuring Pastor Stephen Broden and others who spoke on the issue of life and how it affects the African-American community. The event took place on Saturday, June 19th, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri, and featured a number of great speakers including:
Pastor Stephen Broden, President of the Fair Park Friendship Center and Senior Pastor of Fair Park Bible Fellowship in Houston, Texas;
Dr. Rita Rodgers-Stanley, a Board Certified Internist, born and raised in Kansas City; Bill Francis, Director of the Respect Life Office for the diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph;
Connie Eller, Christian, wife, mother, pro-lifer, and social worker from St. Louis. Over a hundred community members were in attendance.

The event featured over 100 people from the community who gathered to stand for the sanctity of human life.
