October 2010 / Bott Radio Network Oklahoma's 13th Annual Clergy Appreciation Luncheon, Thursday, October 28th
On Thursday, October 28th, Bott Radio Network Oklahoma hosted the 13th annual Clergy Appreciation Luncheon at the Character Training Institute. About 200 pastors, church leaders and their families enjoyed fellowship and delicious food. Bott Radio Network understands how hard pastors work, and what their families sacrifice. This was our opportunity to say, “Thank You.” Mike Jestes opened the luncheon in prayer. Music was provided by The Williamson’s Quartet. During the luncheon, Randall Faulkner of Metropolitan Baptist Church received the Pastor of the Year Award. Pastor Steve Kern of Olivet Baptist Church was presented with the Good Shepherd Award and Doug Miller was recognized with the Broadcasting Excellence Award. Each was presented with a plaque and gift package to Branson, Missouri, for a weekend getaway. The featured speaker was Stephan Moore of Shiloh Summer Camp. The close of the program was a candle lighting service, with a video and music “Go light your World”, sung by the Williamson’s Quartet. Paul Sublett then closed in prayer and encouraged everyone to carry their light into the world.
