March 2011 / Chick-Fil-A President Dan Cathy Interviewed on Bott Radio Network St. Louis, Wednesday, March 16th
On Wednesday, March 16th, Dan Cathy, President of Chick-Fil-A Restaurants, visited BRN St. Louis in order to be interviewed by Harold Hendrick on his local Encounter program. Prior to the interview, Chick-Fil-A was served for lunch to employees and other guests. It was a great afternoon of food, fellowship and friendship. During the interview, Mr. Cathy shared stories and memories regarding his coming to Christ at a young age and being involved in the business under his father’s leadership since childhood. He explained that Chick-Fil-A employees, called ‘associates,’ are taught to be gracious to all their customers. It was also noted that his father Truett celebrated his 90th birthday in Atlanta, where musician Michael W. Smith and others were in attendance. The interview went smoothly and was aired on the March 24th Encounter program on BRN St. Louis AM 1320 at 3:00 p.m.
