Former Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee called for a Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day on Wednesday, August 1st. He called for the day to support company President Dan Cathy's support of family values and marriage as between a man and a woman in an interview with the Baptist Press. Bott Radio Network sponsored and supported the effort with on-air announcements as well as buying lunch on the day.

Thousands of people across the nation enthusiastically supported the idea and jammed every location across the country. BRN Director of Marketing John Dale interviews a patron at a local Chick-Fil-A restaurant just before the noon mealtime. The restaurant was packed as were the roads leading into this location.

Lines were out the door shortly before the traditional lunch hour at this location in the greater Kansas City area.
Lines were long and people happy as they streamed in on foot and by auto to support a family-friendly business.
