September 2012 / Bott Radio Network St. Louis Stands With Missouri Women Standing With Todd Akin, Tuesday, September 18th
The Missouri Women Standing with Todd Akin Kickoff event and dessert buffet was well attended by over 200 women and men who came to hear speakers, discussion and to network. “We Think For Ourselves” was held at Pillar in the Valley in Chesterfield, Missouri, at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 18th. This is a statewide grassroots effort by women who are standing with Todd Akin and are supporting him in the race for Missouri’s seat in the U.S. Senate.
Todd Akin was well supported by many women’s organizations that wished to show him that his campaign is making a difference.
The crowd of over 200 gathered to hear speakers including Phyllis Schlafly and representatives from other women’s organizations and
Congressman Todd Akin.
Bev Ehlen represented Concerned Women of America, Missouri chapter.
Phyllis Schlafly spoke at the event, recalling stories of integrity about the Congressman.
Debbie Cochran, of Missouri Women Standing With Todd Akin, was the Emcee for the evening.
