January 2013 / Bott Radio Network Partners With the Educational Policy Conference 24, at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, January 24th – 26th
The Conference “Five Pillars of the First Amendment, Preserving Our Freedoms From School to Society" was held at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, January 24th through 26th.
The Constitutional Coalition welcomed many outstanding speakers presenting topics such as: Our First Amendment Foundations, Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, and Assembly; U.S. DoED’s Common Core – Thought Control?; The First Amendment Religion and the Press; Understanding and Winning the Battle…Strategies and Messaging, and Founders and Heroes.
Phyllis Schlafly, President of Eagle Forum and author or editor of 20 books, her monthly newsletter, The Phyllis Schlafly Report, a weekly column and a daily
radio commentary heard on 500 stations across the nation, speaks at the Conference. Her new book is titled “No Higher Power.”
Marshall Teague, the main character in the film, "Last Ounce of Courage" spoke up for freedoms we all enjoy and their preservation.
The crowd of over three hundred fifty listened attentively to the outstanding speakers.
Randal O’Toole, who has done extensive research on national forest management and urban land-use and transportation issues spoke on his book, "The Vanishing Automobile: THE FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY."
Ze’Ev Wurman, a former senior policy advisor for the U.S. Department of Education, Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley Executive, spoke on "The Common Core Math Standards – Excellence or Mediocrity?"
