April 2013 / Show Me Your Glory, Lord at Missouri State Capitol, Tuesday, April 2nd
Missouri lawmakers, faced with difficult budget & policy decisions this session, have requested prayer. In response, Christians met at the Capitol on Tuesday, April 2nd, to pray for our state. Our intercession launched a 40-day period of prayer & fasting, to end on May 17th, the last day of the legislative session. At 2:00 p.m., there were prayer walks inside and outside the Capitol, followed by praise & worship on the front lawn. At 5:00 p.m., William Murray, son of atheist activist Madalyn Murray O’ Hair, along with historian and author Bill Federer spoke.
