May 2013 / Missouri State Capitol National Day of Prayer Event, Thursday, May 2nd
A report from Sue Stoltz, Midwest NDP Leader and Bott Radio Network Mid-Missouri Regional Manager: The Lord poured out His Spirit upon us as we met at the Missouri State Capitol for the National Day of Prayer, May 2nd, 2013. He also poured down the rain as we met outside and prayed for our legislators. If the rain had come 15 minutes earlier we would have met at the Memorial Baptist Church and missed the testimonies of our state legislators. Instead it rained a few minutes after the start and we went into the Capitol, where the officials allowed us to finish our meeting inside. There were close to 30 legislators that came to our meeting and 17 gave their testimonies and shared their faith. What an awesome move of God and answer to our prayers! From songs of praise, legislator testimonies, prayers from Pastors, and a dynamic word from God, everyone was blessed and will never be the same. This was truly "Prayer, for America", which makes our nation great and keeps it strong.
