Live Nativity Scene
Our drive-through live Nativity scene is a free event (no donations accepted) During your 10-12 minute drive, you will be immersed in the interactive “Bethlehem” where you will hear of Christ’s birth foretold by ancient prophets, meet the innkeeper with no vacancies, join the Wise Men in following a s tar, and visit Mary and Joseph in the manger with baby Jesus. Your time will end with a cup of hot chocolate delivered to your vehicle and the kids will get candy canes. Harvester’s Food Agency
More folks are finding it harder to put food on their tables. At Fleming Baptist Church they believe those circumstances create an open door for ministry allowing them to serve our Lord and community through becoming an agency for Harvesters Food Service. Fleming Baptist Church will begin distributing free food to those in need for the following towns: Orrick, Camden, Fleming, Henrietta, and Richmond, MO. Harvester’s guidelines require that you have proof of residence. Food will be distributed twice per month on the first and third Wednesdays. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every first Wednesday, then again on the third Wednesday of each month, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is a cost for the church to purchase the food for distribution. Any food or financial donation will be greatly appreciated. Any donations go specifically for providing free food to those in need. Call Pastor Fred Kelley at (816)-776-7625 with questions or for directions or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
