“Go Green” Fundraiser

We want to say thank you to everyone who is helping with our “Go Green” Fundraiser. Our first shipment has been sent. We plan to continue collecting used ink jet cartridges (ones that fit in the palm of the hand - no larger please), laptop/notebook computers, cell phones, MP3 players, digital/digital video cameras, GPS devices, radar detectors, E-book readers, T1 graphing calculators and gold, silver, or platinum jewelry. The electronic equipment does not need to be working. Our goal is to keep these items out of landfills, thus a cleaner environment. All proceeds support the mission of the church. More folks are finding it harder to put food on their tables. At Fleming Baptist Church they believe those circumstances create an open door for ministry allowing them to serve our Lord and community through becoming an agency for Harvesters Food Service. Fleming Baptist Church will begin distributing free food to those in need for the following towns: Orrick, Camden, Fleming, Henrietta, and Richmond, MO.  Harvester’s guidelines require that you have proof of residence. Food will be distributed twice per month on the first and third Wednesdays. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every first Wednesday, then again on the third Wednesday of each month, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is a cost for the church to purchase the food for distribution. Any food or financial donation will be greatly appreciated. Any donations go specifically for providing free food to those in need.
