Beautiful Women’s Conference
True Beauty in a Cosmetic World

Twin Oaks Church will be hosting a conference called "Beautiful"  for women ages 12 and up on Friday evening, February 10th and Saturday morning, February 11th. The conference will focus on what true beauty is - in their identity in Christ and how to reflect that beauty in dress and relationships. Well known speaker, Shelley Noonan will be featured along with Christian pop singer Jonny Diaz. The topic of true beauty in a cosmetic world is a needed message so please plan to attend - and bring friends. There are special family rates as well. The Beautiful Conference registration cost is $30.00 before February 5th, $40.00 there after and at the door, so register early!  Maximum cost per family is $90.00. Celebrate Recovery Testimony Writing Workshop

A light breakfast will begin the Celebrate Recovery Testimony Writing Workshop, to be held on Saturday, February 11th, at First Christian Church of Florissant, 2890 Patterson Road in Florissant, Missouri.  The workshop itself will begin at 9:00 a.m. The workshop will cover the how to of writing your testimony and allows time to begin writing. Testimonies started, may be finished or tweaked. Individuals must have completed Step 4 to attend the workshop. Please bring a notebook to write in and/or your laptop. The honored guest speaker is Dr. Michael Dixon of Saint Gerard Ob/Gyn. Glenn Zimmerman will serve as MC.

New Hope Pantry and Outreach in St. Charles, Missouri is seeking assistance in building up their supplies and finances to give to local individuals in need. Multiple responding outreaches in the St. Louis area have depleted their ’stock’ several times over this last year with the past natural disasters, large local business (Ford) leaving the city and the ongoing local needs that occur. Individuals that have been affected greatly have been the elderly and families seeing difficulties for the first time.

Food items, dry goods, mac & cheese, dry pasta, canned goods of all sorts including meats and fish are needed. Personal hygiene products for both adults and children are needed, as are baby foods and necessities. The New Hope Pantry and Outreach tries to assist with medications and utility bills.
