The Glory of Christmas
Production begins with choreographed performances including dancers and live animals. The second half of production - asks the “Why” of Christmas – and answers with powerful testimonies and drama sketches. Explore and celebrate what Christmas means. A one-of-a-kind Expo . . . tons of resources for children’s minstry . . . all in one place, and all to help reach kids for Christ. The Children’s Ministry Expo will have over 20 workshops, a great hands-on experience to see, hear and touch, all sorts of tools to provide services for kids and their families. There will be opportunities to meet entertainers that might be used at a Children’s event! This expo has something for every need, at any budget. Children’s Sunday school teachers, pastors, ministry directors, volunteers, leaders and parents are encouraged to attend and experience the Expo.

First Baptist Church Maryville (FBCM) is offering six new weekly Bible studies for women this fall. Meetings will be with the same group of women each week. There are evening and morning studies available to fit all schedules. Class costs vary anywhere from $6 - $22 per study (cost includes the book for the chosen study, plus a nominal fee for leadership materials and shipping.) Grief share is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief. For people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. A place to be where people around you understand what you are feeling. Video and discussions will cover multiple stages of grief – the journey of grief, living with grief, effects of grief, why, stuck in grief, God’s prescription for and so much more.
