Fred Zielonko - St. Louis Regional

Fred Zielonko is the St. Louis Regional Manager at 91.5 FM and 1320 AM. A graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications, Fred brings a wealth of St. Louis radio broadcast experience, including twenty years at KMOX and nine years of station management experience at KTRS and WIBV Radio. A visionary leader in the media and communications industry, Fred looks forward to dedicating his business skills and experience to share in Bott Radio Network’s vision since its founding 50 years ago in 1962 – Getting the Word of God Into the People of God.

As St. Louis Regional Manager at 91.5 FM and 1320 AM, Fred will lead and manage Bott Radio Network St. Louis. At 100,000 watts, 91.5 FM is one of the most powerful radio signals in St. Louis. Recently Family Research Council recognized Bott Radio Network’s 91.5 FM and 1320 AM as their Stations of the Year at the National Religious Broadcaster Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Dave Powell Dave Powell – Production Director A Bott Radio Network team member since 1990, Dave Powell brings a lifetime of experience to 1320 AM and 91.5 FM. Powell holds a Bachelor´s degree in Communications from Lindenwood University in St.Louis. His previous work experience includes positions at several St. Louis area radio stations. Powell oversees the operations of both 1320 AM and 91.5 FM in addition to his duties as Production Director. He attends church in St. Charles.
Dale Smith- Office Manager
Dale Smith has been Office Manager since 2001 and is happy to be a part of the Bott Radio Network vision to “Get the Word of God into the people of God.” She is responsible for the smooth operation of both the AM & FM’s offices. Dale comes from a background of business and graphic arts. She and her husband are blessed with three grown children. Traveling, sports and painting are some of her personal passions. Joy Elder Joy Elder – Director of Marketing & Sales Filled with high energy, Joy loves spearheading the sales and marketing department of Bott Radio Network St. Louis. Anyone who knows Joy knows she loves to have fun and is passionate about life! Part of the Bott Radio Network team since 1990, she brings a wealth of experience from Proctor & Gamble and Y98FM. Joy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications from Lindenwood University. She is also an accomplished figure skater, having toured nationally with The Ice Follies. Today, Joy is still very athletic and has earned numerous trophies as a competitive triathlete. However, Joy’s greatest “success” is her son Blake, who is the love of her life! Bobbi Schuessler – Senior Account Executive Bobbi has been a Bott Radio Network team member since 2006. She brings 12 years radio advertising sales from Contemporary Christian music stations, WCBW “The Bridge” and JoyFM. Prior to radio, she spent 10 years in telecommunication sales. Bobbi’s been at the same church for over 20 years, serving in various ministries including numerous short term mission trips.

She’s currently leading a women’s small group and teaching children’s Sunday school. Bobbi’s favorite verse is Galations 2:20. Two little girls, Abigail and Anna, call her Grandma and get anything they want. Bobbi sees the value of teaching programs in people’s lives and considers it a blessing to be part of what the Lord is doing through Bott Radio Network. Rocky Johnson Rocky Johnson – Traffic Director
Rocky Johnson shows his versatility serving as Morning Announcer and Traffic Manager for BRN in St. Louis. He has been with BRN since 1984, his first experience in radio broadcasting. Since then, he has been trained in Marketing, Announcing and Production at The Broadcast Center in St. Louis. He is married with two daughters, Hannah and Erin.
Donna Vehlewald – Sales Service Manager & Assistant Office Manager Donna Vehlewald, Office Assistant and Sales Service Manager, came to BRN in 2000 with a background in Marketing and Newspaper. “Creating” is a passion and seeing the creation of someone’s thoughts come alive is as much fun as work to Donna. Tony Cabanellas-Chief Control Room Operator & Operations Assistant Tony has been with Bott Radio Network since 1997. Starting as a part time Control Room Operator, he came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior through working at BRN St. Louis. He currently serves as Chief Control Room Operator and as Operations Assistant. His experience working at various radio and TV stations coupled with knowledge from his own business based around old recordings enhance his position at Bott. Tony holds a degree in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University and is known as an historian of the St. Louis Top 40 and African American radio market. Eric Nelson Eric Nelson – Overnight Control Room Operator
Eric has been serving Bott Radio Network  since 1998, starting as a part time Control Room Operator after earning a degree in Broadcast/Communications from Fontbonne College in St. Louis.In 1990 he was promoted to Overnight Control Room Operator where he has worked ever since. Eric is married and lives in Brentwood, Missouri.
