Ongoing Events:Choose Life Nebraska – Nebraska License Plates Choose Life Nebraska has been approved to collect applications for the Choose Life license plate. Nebraska State Law requires that they pre-sell 500 plates and submit the 500 applications along with the total amount of the plates at one time. The plates are only $70 each per year, which goes to the state of Nebraska and covers their cost of issuing the plates. For information on how to receive or submit an application for a Choose Life license plate, contact Bob Blank at 402-330-1228 or go to www.livingwordministry.org and click “Choose Life Nebraska.” City Wide Free Breakfast for Men Join us for breakfast every first Tuesday of the month and bring a friend. Heartland Men of Faith are men seeking God through faith in Jesus Christ. We are a group of Christian men desiring to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and the men of our community. Our goal: to grow in relationship with Christ, our families, our churches and with each other to live godly lives that demonstrate God’s power in both our strengths and weaknesses. State Capitol Prayer Walking The State Capitol Prayer Walk, hosted by Nebraska Family Council, is held the second Saturday of every month from 10:00-11:15 a.m. Meet on the west side of the state capitol building, 15th and Lincoln Mall, at the Lincoln statue. Brief instructions are provided before dividing into teams and prayer walking the halls of our State Senators, the Nebraska Supreme Court and Executive branches of government. Concluding prayer is offered while overlooking the Legislative Chambers.
